Last updated: October 13, 2026 Version: 5.0

These Terms of Use and Service Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Arena Sensei (the "Platform" or "Service"), available at https://arenasensei.com and in its applications. The Platform is operated by Juno Woz (Juno Woz), registered in Brazil under CNPJ 58.515.433/0001-60, at R. Belo Horizonte, 889, Sala Z, Aleixo, Manaus/AM, CEP 69.060-601.

By creating an account, subscribing, giving electronic acceptance, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: the SaaS service for managing BJJ academies and its athlete community, including the website, PWA, features, and APIs.
  • User: any person who accesses or uses the Platform as an academy administrator or student.
  • Academy: the person or legal entity that subscribes to manage an academy, acting through its administrator, coach, or representative.
  • Student: a person who tracks training, joins the community or an academy, views plans, submits store orders, or arranges payment directly with an academy.
  • Subscription: the paid plan that enables the academy's professional (Pro) features.
  • Manual payment records: plan values, due dates, and payment statuses an academy may record for its own tracking. These records do not prove that the Platform processed or received a payment.
  • User Content: text, photos, training logs, profile data, and other content uploaded by users.

2. Service

2.1. The Platform provides student management, plans, contracts, manual records of agreed amounts and due dates, class schedules, academy product listings and order requests, notifications, a student app, a community, and training logs.

2.2. Juno Woz provides technology. It is not an academy, school, physical training provider, financial institution, broker, or party to contracts between academies and students. Each academy is responsible for its training services, class quality, participants' physical safety, and its contracts with students.

2.3. Features may be added, changed, or discontinued as the Service develops.

3. Acceptance, duration, and changes

3.1. These Terms apply from electronic acceptance or first use and remain effective during the relationship with the Platform.

3.2. Electronic acceptance is recorded with date, time, IP address, user agent, and an integrity hash, under article 10, paragraph 2 of Brazilian Provisional Measure 2.200-2/2001.

3.3. Material changes will be communicated by email or a Platform notice with reasonable advance notice. Continued use constitutes agreement.

4. Accounts and eligibility

4.1. Provide accurate, truthful, current account information. You are responsible for your data and for protecting your credentials.

4.2. Individual accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older. Minors may use the Platform only with parental or legal guardian representation or assistance. An academy must obtain specific, prominent guardian consent for a minor student's data.

4.3. Accounts may be refused, suspended, or closed for breaches of these Terms, applicable law, or security risks.

5. User roles

5.1. Academies manage their students, plans, contracts, manual payment tracking, store, and classes. They approve students, set prices, arrange and receive payments directly, and meet their legal, tax, and employment obligations.

5.2. Students may join an academy, view plans, request enrollment, review manual records, submit store orders, log training, and participate in the community. Students arrange and make membership and store payments directly with the academy, outside the Platform. A student account does not require an academy membership.

5.3. Users may access only data they are authorized to access. Attempts to access another academy's or user's data without authorization are prohibited.

6. Plans, prices, and free trial

6.1. Arena Sensei Pro is available as a monthly or annual academy subscription. The configured price, currency, billing interval, and total are shown in Stripe Checkout before payment. Unlimited students are subject to fair use.

6.2. New academies receive 14 days of Pro access without a card at registration. A paid subscription is required to retain Pro features after the trial.

6.3. The academy's Platform subscription is billed through Stripe Checkout using methods supported for the configured price and account. This charge is only for Arena Sensei Pro and is separate from student and store payments, which the Platform does not process.

6.4. Subscriptions renew at the end of each monthly or annual cycle until canceled. Subscribing authorizes recurring charges.

6.5. Price changes require at least 30 days' notice and apply only to later cycles.

6.6. Juno Woz may grant complimentary access to individual academies.

7. Cancellation and refunds

7.1. An academy may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; Pro access continues through the paid period. There is no prorated refund unless required by law.

7.2. Where article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code applies, an academy may withdraw from its first subscription within seven days and receive a refund of payments made.

7.3. Users may request data export when the relationship ends, subject to legal retention periods.

8. Nonpayment and suspension

8.1. An unpaid subscription has a 7-day grace period from its due date. Access remains active during that period and payment notices may be sent.

8.2. Continued nonpayment suspends Pro features, including student, plan, billing, store, and class management. Payment restores access.

8.3. Suspension does not immediately delete academy data. Data is retained for a reasonable reactivation period, subject to legal limits.

9. Student payments and store orders

9.1. The Platform does not process, receive, transfer, or intermediate membership, enrollment, or store-order payments. Students arrange amounts, due dates, payment, and delivery directly with the academy.

9.2. An academy may manually record agreed amounts, due dates, and payment status for its own tracking. These records are informational and do not represent a charge issued, payment confirmed, or settlement handled by the Platform.

9.3. Stripe Checkout and the Stripe billing portal are used exclusively for the academy's Arena Sensei Pro subscription. The Platform does not collect student card details or offer payment methods for membership or store orders.

10. Academy responsibilities

Academies are responsible for accurate data, their student relationships, plans, fees, commitments, penalties and contracts, tax and employment obligations, regulatory compliance, and legal grounds for processing student data.

11. Student responsibilities

Students are responsible for their data, credentials, and content. Payments, enrollments, and purchases relate to the relevant academy. BJJ has inherent physical risks, managed by the academy.

12. User Content

Users retain ownership of their content and grant the operator a nonexclusive license, for the necessary period, to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely to operate the Service. Illegal, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, rights-infringing content or third-party sensitive data without a legal basis is prohibited.

13. Acceptable use

Illegal activity, unauthorized access, bypassing security, reverse engineering, malicious code, infrastructure overload, unauthorized scraping, fraud, and money laundering are prohibited.

14. Fair use

Unlimited students assumes regular, good-faith academy use. Reasonable technical limits may apply to file sizes, post lengths, and automated abuse.

15. Intellectual property

The Platform, names, brands, logos, layout, code, and design belong to the operator or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights.

16. Third-party services

The Platform integrates Stripe for Arena Sensei Pro subscriptions, email, hosting, and infrastructure providers. Their terms apply. The operator is not responsible for actions, failures, or unavailability outside its control.

17. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for academy acts or services, participants' physical safety, amounts or payments arranged directly between academies and students, user content, indirect damages, lost profits, or lost data. Its total liability to an academy is limited to the amount that academy paid the operator in the preceding 12 months.

18. Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the operator, its owners, administrators, and staff harmless against claims, losses, damages, fines, and expenses arising from breaches of these Terms, published content, academy-student relationships, tax or employment obligations, or data processing for which the academy is the controller.

19. Personal data

The Privacy Policy governs personal data processing. An academy is the controller of its students' management data and the operator is its processor. The operator is the controller for accounts, community, security, and SaaS subscription billing.

20. Suspension and closure

Access may be suspended or closed for breaches, security risks, court orders, or nonpayment. Users may close their accounts at any time without removing outstanding obligations or legal retention requirements.

21. Communications

Users agree to account and Pro subscription messages, security alerts, and legal notices by email or Platform notices. Training and social activity notifications follow user preferences.

22. Governing law

Brazilian law governs these Terms. Disputes are subject to Comarca de Manaus/AM, except where consumer law requires the consumer's local court.
